Mundo Corp Warranty Return Policies and Procedures
WARRANTY
Our Products carry a 30-day repair or replace warranty for defective items only, unless otherwise specified. The warranty period starts the day of shipment.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of an order prior to shipment will incur a $5 processing fee.
SHIPMENTS
In accordance with credit card regulations, Mundo Corp reserves the right to ship any order, without notice, to the confirmed address.
RETURN INFORMATION
All sales are final.
All components are inspected, checked and tested before shipment to insure they function within manufacturers' specifications. We will not be responsible for the repair or replacement of any component that is incorrectly or improperly installed by the consumer. If any customer purchases a component with the intent of installing it themselves, they are responsible for its proper installation. The customer has a responsibility to insure they are entirely familiar with the safeguards and procedures necessary to install electronic components.
We will not be responsible for the repair or replacement of any component that is incorrectly or improperly installed by any third party. If any customer purchases a component with the intent of contracting a third party to install it, this third party is responsible for its proper installation. The customer has the responsibility to insure that third party is entirely familiar with the safeguards and procedures necessary to install electronic components.
If any shipment of an order is refused, the customer will be charged a 25% restock fee of product(s) shipped. In addition, the customer will be charged all original shipping, handling, and return postage charges.
RETURN PROCESS
- To initiate a return, please call our customer service department at 865-940-5040 and have the order number available.
- All returns must be authorized by Mundo Corp and accompanied with a Mundo Corp Return Authorization number on the outside of the package. ANY PACKAGE WITHOUT THE RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER CLEARLY MARKED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE WILL BE REFUSED BY OUR WAREHOUSE.
- All items being returned must be packed as if they were new and working. Inadequate packing will cause the package to be returned and will void any warranty. Return shipments must be prepaid.
- All returned products must have our Mundo Corp label(s) intact and/or indelible mark on the part. The absence of our label(s) and or marks will void any warranty.
- Original shipping, handling, and return postage charges shall not be refunded. Return shipments must be prepaid.
- Customers outside of the US are responsible for any and all custom fees charged by their country.
- Any component being returned to us under warranty will be examined and tested to determine the cause of the failure. If we determine the component failed as the result of user mishandling, mistake, error or any of the other reasons as noted below, the component will be returned at the customer's expense and without warranty adjustment.
- If a returned component claimed to be defective under our terms of warranty is found, upon testing at our testing facility, to be working to manufacturer's specifications, Mundo Corp will:
- Restock the item(s), and the customer will be credited, in the form of a store credit, the cost of product only, minus a restocking fee of up to 35%. No refunds will be issued.
- EXCEPTIONS FOR BATTERIES: Batteries are not returnable. Any battery being returned that is claimed defective under our terms of warranty, and tests to manufacturer's specifications (minus any use during the purchase period); the battery(s) will be returned and the customer will be charged a $25.00 testing fee and return shipping charges.
REFUNDS
Mundo Corp will not issue refunds for merchandise; we will, however, provide a replacement part if the return is completed within the terms of the warranty period and tested at our facility as defective. Any customer not requiring a replacement part will receive a store credit minus any applicable restock fee.
SPECIFIC WARRANTY ISSUES
Warranties do not apply to components that fail, or are damaged as the result of, but not limited to:
- Misuse.
- Mishandling.
- Improper handling or improper installation of any component by the consumer.
- Acts of God, including but not limited to lightning, flood, earthquake, hurricanes, etc.
- Blackouts, power surges, brownouts, electrical current irregularities, etc.
- Static electricity damage.
- User's failure to provide a clean, adequately ventilated area for the computer or any of its peripherals.
- Lack of user or consumer maintenance.
- Any modifications including, but not limited to, accelerating of the motherboard, processor, memory or any other component beyond the specifications of the manufacturer.
BROKEN, DAMAGED PRODUCTS or SHORTAGES
- Please inspect all packages carefully upon receipt.
- Please keep all packaging materials, including interior and exterior containers.
- UPS deliveries - immediately notify the carrier at 800-PICK-UPS.
- Please do not return damaged merchandise. The shipper may request to see the condition of the package as it arrived at the delivery site.
- Mundo Corp must also be contacted at 865-940-5040 within 24 hours of receipt to report damaged or broken merchandise.
- Any product shortage must be reported to Mundo Corp within 24 hours of delivery.
